what cases are there like this?

i see a guy like manchester mike mccallum called underrated all the time, but he gets massive props from pretty much everyone, and while he may have started underrated the constant 'so underated and overlooked' stuff has swung too far perhaps

badou jack is a guy who for me was a bit like this. he was legit underrated because of his early ko loss, but then EVERYONE started to say how underrated he was, and he ceased to be and became a bit overrated



conversely, at least among hardcore fans/hipsters i see so many ppl say these days that chavez sr has become overrated, nothing close to mexico's greatest etc, so much that you'd think he was just nothing special

bruno for me is one who went from overrated in his big hype days to under rated, ppl talk about him today like he's some loser, and always use 'next bruno' in a negative way

reality is he steam rolled brit and euro level, then won world title off a guy who'd just beat lennox lewis and larry holmes
