For me it's great. I don't wanna jinx it but I haven't had to log in for nearly a week now. I'm constantly logged in, it's great. The first day of the change there was a bit of fukin about logging in but since then I haven't had to log in once

It appears to me that BoxRec is an even cozier, more convenient, and higher functioning oasis than it has ever been.

What Operating System are you using Stephen? I'm on Windows 10 and are using Chrome. I'm OK with the browsers/computers I'm already logged in with... any new attempts result in some MySQL error.

Happened to me as well today, first time. Suspect the new options to login via Facebook / Google etc have confused the member database.

To those who are affected, please accurately described the problem so that this thread can be referred to John's IT people so that they fix the problems.

Using an iPhone 7 (crap I know, work have suspended mobile upgrades due to Covid). The issue I had is:
- When I went to look at the forum this morning, my account was logged out (even this is unusual as I always have the ‘remember me’ option turned on and very rarely log out since I only connect via my phone)
- Clicked the new ‘Login’ button and got taken to a different login screen than usual, with options for logging in via Facebook / Google etc, or via Boxrec username / password
- Tried to enter my details in the Boxrec username / password section as normal, and got taken to a screen saying
“You have attempted to login with an external service that is not yet connected to an account on this board. You must now either link this account to an existing account or create a new account.”
- As a workaround, went to the B&I board and found one of my recent posts, clicked on my name which took me to the old login screen and was able to proceed as normal

Conan I started a thread describing what was happening a week ago and it came and went. This is now at least the third thread on this issue. I don’t think they really care anymore.

As per abov but Login page either comes up blank (with a red border) or an error message which I now can't get back up again (it contains technical jargon)
Havingto go to a forum, choose a thread then hit the Reply button. Then my login details automatically appear and it works

same! To log in, I was posting in a RBR thread (and taking tips from Margaret Thatcher... The poster, I mean. I wasn't terrorizing the local mining community).
Seems to be OK for me now.

I finally got a phone upgrade late last week (hallelujah) and haven’t experienced the log-in problem since. Hopefully it’ll stay fixed now then.
