I'd favor Arreola to win by KO within the first 3 or 4 rounds. Possibly the 1st.

Probably Mesi would look good for several rounds, but eventually Arreola would get to him and KO him.

Yeah I could see that as well. I'm not sure if he had stamina issues or what, but in his toughest fights this happened, and it must be noted that his toughest fights were against Lower Top 10 or Top 15-ish type guys. Arreola while he's no world beater is at least that good or was at his best, and is a bigger Heavyweight hitter than Monte Barrett or Vassily Jirov.

nah, mesi was limited but no glass seth mitchell, he wouldnt get blown away so easily

id expect quite the 2 way battle for a while, arreola probably stops him later on

I mean, getting knocked down multiple times, and getting your brain permanently rattled by Monte Barrett and Vassily Jirov doesn't exactly make him iron jawed.

Battle of attrition won by Chris in 9 or 10.

he literally had a brain bleed vs jirov and yet survived until the end. barret he got dropped but never looked in too hurt, more just that he was getting outpointed in a number of rounds

he wasnt some wimp or glass jaw who would get blown out mitchell style by arreola, he would give him a real fight for a while but arreola was tougher and would prob get him in the end, prob later on. mesi would land his fair share and mark chris up before that happened

tbh, i really like the matchup, woldemar has made some good ones today

It'd be interesting to know where the brain bleed started in the Jirov bout. I would think it started from that back of the head shot that put him down initially. He never really seemed to regain his equilibrium from there either.
