Sanders wins by KO in all likelihood. If he doesn't then it's not out of the question that Whitaker can decision him, but I'd pick Sanders more often than not as he was the much more gifted of the two fighters. The person who could defeat Sanders is Sanders. He wasn't always adamant in his training, but hell even a pudgy, not in particularly great shape Sanders can still crack as Wlad found out.

Either Mount Whitaker either decision or stop him in the late rounds or Sanders would make Whitaker look "Goofi" by nailing him with right jabs and southpaw left hands to either decision or KO in the late rounds.

That was one of the very first Boxing matches I watched live, when Whitaker was coming to the ring with kids wanting to be called "Goofi"

at their best, sanders was a lot better, but he was inconsistent and at various points in his career could easily get ko'd as well. whitaker was mostly poopy but he could punch a bit
