I had a library of Boxing magazines back then but can't particularly remember that article.BUT I met Tony Tucker at Fairlane mall back in 83- 84?Big impressive guy just standing there people watching.
I do remember reading in one of the magazines that he was like Muhammad Ali in the fact that he had fought in basically every weight division as an amateur to a pro from flyweight(or bantam I can't remember) to Heavy.

Tony was a top heavy prospect in the early 80s, one of Tomorrow's Champions with Ayala, Ramos, and Bumphus, but injuries derailed him.
