Did Loma change punch selection in Nakatani fight to avoid shoulder re injury

I noticed that Loma threw more straight left hands than usual in Nakatani fight, and less action with his usual dominant lead right hand,
I was wondering if Loma was throwing more lefts in this fashion to change his fighting style and protect his right shoulder from re-injury.
I only saw him throw at half strength a kind of downward cork screw punch he often uses when going for ko with his right hand in Nakatani fight, I was wondering if the more straight left punches and less awkward thrown right hand were a conscious decision by Loma or just what was available due to Nakatani's height and fighting style.
Did any of you notice this and if so what was your opinion.
