It’s an incredible book. A great read. The chapter on Rick Parker and Bruce Seldon was especially enlightening. I’ve watched a lot of old Seldon fights and always found him high value. Had no idea about the path of his shot at Holyfield. This book also contains the deepest dive anyone has ever taken on the mysterious death of Sonny Liston. Acevedo has likely provided the definitive answer at long last. The tragic tale of Esteban De Jesus and his wars in the ring with Duran is told in vivid detail. There is an amazing chapter on Mike Tyson in 1988 including detailed storytelling of the brawl with Blood Green in front of Dapper Dan’s.
It’s a must read for boxing fans! Highly recommend!
