One time Cuban ex-President, the late Fidel Castro, asked the great Roberto Duran in a baseball stadium in Cuba of who will win between a fight with Teofilo Stevenson and Muhammad Ali and Duran replied that "Ali would beat the shiiit out of Stevenson!" That was funny.

1976 would have more interesting.

On the other hand, hon the gold Medal that year as well. He was a better fighter in 1976 then he was in 1972. Frazier was not as good. Obviously Frazier would still have won, but it might have lasted a while.

Stevenson didn't fight Greg Page, Mitch Green, Marvis Frazier, and James Broad. As for 2 of them, it's a blessing in Teofilo case's he didn't. Frazier by 3rd round kayo.

Frazier would destroy Stevenson. Joe's style is all wrong for Teofilo, even if Stevenson would have prepared for a 15 round pro-fight after some tune-up bouts. Frazier handily won Ali, so Stevenson's chances would be close to unreal.

It would be a stoppage win for Frazier every bit as devastating if not more so than his two round annihilation of Bob Foster.
