Dillian Whyte's career path?

Apart from a very brief blip (i.e. several months between the Povetkin defeat and victory), Dillian Whyte has been the WBC’s highest-rated heavyweight contender since November 2017.
And now that the Fury-Wilder rematch has been postponed until October, it seems inevitable that Dillian Whyte will soon be “celebrating” his four-year wait for his long-overdue WBC title shot.
To make matters worse, Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed yesterday that the eventual winner of Fury-Wilder III won’t have to perform a mandatory defence of their WBC title, meaning that ‘The Body Snatcher’ doesn’t even possess mandatory challenger status., despite holding the Interim title.
Assuming Tyson Fury beats Wilder and then faces Anthony Joshua twice during 2022, then it’s extremely likely that Dillian Whyte won’t receive his title shot until 2023.
It’s not as if Dillian Whyte can gain a title shot via one of the other governing bodies either, because AJ’s committed to facing Oleksandr Usyk next, closely following by two bouts against Tyson Fury.
Where does Dillian Whyte go from here?

Dillian Whyte has recently won the 40 year old post-covid competitor, after being iced by the same guy, while he was covid-free. He could look like a top challenger a couple of years ago, he don't look like that today.
Now the championship must be determined in the painful soap opera featuring Fury, Wilder, Joshua and Usyk. Maybe we should give some belt to Covid, as he already got a couple of p4p fighters, doesn't this sound impressive? Whyte isn't close to that!
Whyte should fight the likes of Ruiz, Ortiz, Joyce, Yoka, Hrgovich, Hunter, etc.

If I was Hearn I'd arrange AJ Vs Whyte 2 for the Undisputed Championship should AJ beat Usyk as Whyte has the Interim WBC belt. It would be a farce in terms of promotion but it would piss off the right people(Frank, Fury, Wilder, Sulaiman) as a Matchroom Heavyweight would end up with all four belts around their waist so it would be easier to sell Fury/Wilder as the challenger. It would sell, Whyte gets his shot and gets paid well for it. I think due to styles he has a better chance at beating the other two than AJ though.

With this delay fair chance WBC will make fury franchise and dillian email champ. whyte has been fucked (whoever leaked that drug test shit realllly fucked him although i dont mind it really because generally no smoke without fire...)but that was forgiven, so They cant keep whyte waiting with no path to the WBC on the horrizon after this long being there top contender....
Is Whyte the best heavyweight in the 4 belt era to never fight for a world title?

Remember after the oPov fight.
Dil received the Diamond belt or the interim, not sure if there is a difference in appearance, but he kept saying to Eddie during his interview..
'This isn't the right belt, Eddie, where's my belt?'
Found that a bit strange.

whyte will never get a title fight. He just talks too much like Amir Khan (floyed said he just take the fun out of it).
If wilder wins , he never gives Whyte any payday.
If Fury wins, he will take a keep busy fight and wait for joshua fight. and then Joshua rematch.

Matchroom submitted numerous career-high payday offers to Wilder for the Whyte bout, which Deontay verified, but they were rejected by 'The Bronze Bomber'.
Tyson Fury dismissed the WBC's order to face Dillian Whyte for their diamond belt, and fought Otto Wallin instead.
Luis Ortiz and Andy Ruiz Jr. also rejected offers to face Dillian Whyte.
And Whyte's resume is impressive. He fought AJ and lost but gave a valiant effort.

Has Whyte ever turned down chances to fight Ortiz?

Has Whyte ever turned down chances to fight Ortiz?
On the 25th April 2018, the WBC officially ordered the final eliminator between Luis Ortiz and Dillian Whyte.
The Cuban allegedly declined the opportunity to face Dillian Whyte on the 28th July 2018, which was accompanied with a two million dollar purse offer, because he claimed the scheduled fight-date was too soon for him. However, Ortiz actually ended up fighting on that date anyway, when he engaged in the preposterous Razvan Cojanu mismatch.
Meanwhile, Dillian Whyte had to find an alternative opponent for his 28th July bout, so he chose to face an even better fighter instead, Joseph Parker (as per ESPN's & The RING's ratings).

He should keep tweeting at Ruiz until he annoys him into accepting the fight. That fight to introduce him to Americans.

Ortiz turned down Joshua in order to face Wilder instead, and then he lost that fight. More people know Andy than Ortiz because he was briefly the champion.

On the 25th April 2018, the WBC officially ordered the final eliminator between Luis Ortiz and Dillian Whyte.
The winner of this fight would acquire secondary mandatory challenger status (second in the queue to face Deontay Wilder, behind Dominic Breazeale - a man with a worse WBC ranking than Dillian Whyte).
Dillian Whyte refused to engage in the WBC final eliminator, because he had previously competed in a WBC eliminator against Dereck Chisora, had captured and successfully defended the WBC silver title twice and had been their highest-ranked title challenger for roughly one year.
Even though Dillian Whyte refused to participate in the WBC’s final eliminator, Eddie Hearn still tried to make the Luis Ortiz fight.
Around the same timeframe, Dillian Whyte also rejected the opportunity to compete in an IBF final eliminator, against Kubrat Pulev, because he was only receiving a 25% purse split to compete on the Bulgarian’s home turf, which equated to a paltry $375K (as per the purse bid won by Epic Sports & Entertainment). The Bulgarian was being paid three times more than the Brit’s sum.
Kubrat Pulev ended up facing Hughie Fury in the IBF’s final eliminator, whereas Dillian Whyte fought Joseph Parker instead, with both the Brit & the Kiwi pocketing slightly more than $1.3m each.

Whyte will just have to coast, have an easy fight once a year & sit on his ranking until the big boys sort themselves out.
It's a shame for him, but as Lennox Lewis used to say, that boxing politricks for you.

Sounds ever so slightly racist to me.
If you are not being racist and you genuinely think he does look like a monkey, what has that got to do with his boxing career and his current predicament?

He will be too old.
I think he has past peak already, or at least past peak punch resistance. And I'm not just talking about Povetkin either. Going back to Helenius..

whyte's 'punch resistance' is up there with the best.
no man born by a mother on the receiving end of that absolute beauty of an uppercut by povetkin would've stayed on his feet.
u don't see a punch right on the spot like that even a millisecond before impact gives u zero chance to react with even the slightest evasive action, it means good night.
no matter what freakish chin one may posess.

Whyte is not more juicing beat a man Name Povetkin who stopped juicing even long time ago.
It's unbelievable for me to see how much credit is being given to whtye like he has beaten someone "No body" called Povetkin
