Love this fight. I don’t see that Liam Smith has lost much to be honest from his top level so this will be a proper fight.

wonder who the betting fave would be......maybe fowler since a lot of people are determined to think he's destined for bigger things?

I think I favour Smith but most fighters improve under Shane McGuigan & Smiths training situation seems a bit chaotic. I think he had a couple of weeks in America & then ended up with his amateur coaches before his last fight in Russia.

all depends what Smith has left. If Smith is just purse collecting, then fowler wins by late stoppage. If Smith turns up as 80% of the real Liam Smith, then its Smiths fight.

that's anthony fowl'ers way of looking at it. but he's also way less experienced and got dropped + lost to his only good opponent. we are talking about a highly proven euro level fighter , going to the late rounds vs canelo/munguia (simith) vs a guy who failed in his 1 shot at the british

i dont think he's faster either . in fact, vs fitz, nearly everything that looks so good vs cans wasnt there


he is fresher and will be ed's fave though....it's a serious test for him and i'll take him a lot more seriously if he wins it

Smith might just be enough on the wane for Fowler to take this. I thought he took a lot of shots in his last fight.

Fowler has never fought at the level Smith has been competing at and the only way he has the number of Smith is because Smith is fading and not because of much else.

I hope there is subtitles for the press conferences.
