Anybody else think a possible upset might happen with Lynes the weekend. He's been inactive and to be honest never been overly impressed with him. His punch power is poor and his opponent has been competitive with what I would call a better standard of opposition (David Diaz is very good, well according to the judges he only lost an 8 rounder by 2 points).

He is coming off the back of a heavy KO defeat, but then - Lynes' isn't a puncher.

I've just put my predictions in for Lynes points win, but wouldn't be at all surprised if the upset happend.

Lynes on his own manor in Essex is not an easy fight for Gallardo - having his first fight outside the States.
The lanky American, as you say, is no mug. But, with just five early finishes, is no banger, either, and has been in a lot of hard fights recently and might be ripe for the taking. Mighty Mike Arnaoutis destroyed him last time out in December.
Lynes should have enough to win clearly on points.

Yes, I do still forget that the UK is becoming as hard a place as any for an to get the decision. I think Lynes should win but its quite a good match up.

Don't forget BRAVO are showing this one LIVE at 9pm on Sunday 13th.

Also showing Benn v Eubank at 8pm.

Yeah, its a 3 hour show - Its either going to be a shit load of adverts of Ed Hall and Sarah Cawood are going to be talking Very slowly.

Not complaining about the fact it is 3 hours, just hope it is 3 hours of good action.

wasnt worse decesion ever but think i thought he got beat by a couple of rounds

I guess the feelings are these days that if the home boy is still standing give him the decision!... :x . After all the other guy is only some poor kid from California who should be thankful for getting the work! he shouldn't actually expect to win should he!.
Lynes used his head so much they should make a glove for it!.

It was quite a good fight, but a robbery. It reminded me of when italian fighters fight foreigners in italy, if the italian fighter is not actually decapitated, he'll get the decision no matter what happens in the fight. I thought we in Britain had a better reputation than that to live up to, but apparently not.

What were the judges scores??

114-114, 116-113, 117-113 (How that last score materialised we'll never know)

Absolute robbery. I actually scored everything to the opponent from the 3rd round, although rounds 3-6 were pretty close.

I think the best I could do was give Lynes a 1 point lead going into the 7th - from that round the opponent took over.

I thought the Sarmiento decision was bad, this one was alot worse.

yip thats two in row for lynes, he is gonna beat soon surely.
he cant punch and isnt that great a boxer, to be honest.

he is one to defo go against in the near future in the predic league!

I think it is time some investigations happend about this regular occurance. How many bad decision have there been in the last 20 years? How many of these have occured in the last two years?
