BHOP beat Keith Holmes and Felix Trinidad in 2001.
GGG beat Danny Jacobs and drew with Canelo in 2017.
Who wins ?

Don't normally fence sit but I wouldn't count out the draw.

Both were kings of comparably weak eras, however, Golovkin was dethroned in a way more disputable fashion. In addition to that, Golovkin simply was a better boxer, with a superior technical abilities, power and workrate. Golovkin would outwork Hopkins to a comfortable dec.

As much as I like GGG, I think Hopkins would've won a decision. It'd of been competitive, but it'd of been unanimous.

poppy hoppy wins something like 8-4 / 9-3 in a very negative but clearly winning performance. i think hes wrong for ggg

Ggg cuts the ring off and has better footwork than tito. Plus he has a great jab.

Hopkins at his best vs Golovkin not at his best. I'd favor Hopkins by a small margin.
