who do you think wins and why?

Two former champs with no direction. I feel like Algieri has more left than Broner at this point but it's not a clear cut choice.

I’d watch, and favor Algieri on activity.

I don't think either man is committed to boxing. Algieri is more a nutritionist now (I believe). He also doesn't have the natural power to trouble Broner. Could end up being competitive whilst also being lackluster.

If they fight to a draw, they could take an IQ test for the tiebreaker.

Adrien Broner has only won one fight in 4½ years.

And the last time he stopped an opponent was 5½ years ago. It was his only KO victory within the last 8½ years.

Broner has never scored a stoppage victory over any welterweight opposition.

Chris Algieri only has one stoppage victory within the last eight years. He’s never KO’d a fully-fledged welterweight.

Therefore, any fight between Algieri and Broner would almost certainly last the distance.

I’d favour Algieri to score a relatively comfortable 116-112 type decision victory over Broner.
