Absolutely! Pacquiao took the risks and didn't use the prima donna cherry picking/careful matchmaking/ A Side chicanery that Floyd practically invented and Clenelo furthered in his master's wake.

It's certainly good business, and it makes financial sense for sure, but it's simply not sport.

It's certainly good business - the way things seem to work in the 21st century, and it certainly makes financial sense for sure, and it might even be entertaining at times, but it's simply not sport.

There is also retiring of Tim Bradley and stoppage over Matthysse. Schooling Broner was fun to watch too, but that fight was Mayweather - Berto level

Manny is my vote based on overall accomplishments and contributions to boxing, and the fact that he challenged himself far more.

He isn’t fighting Andre Berto on Saturday, although it is no longer Spence.

Marciano was great, but he was not as great as Joe Louis, Ali, and Larry Holmes.

It's a big gap between the 2 and Mayweather is the higher rated.

Joe Calzaghe was undefeated, but he was not as great as BHop and RJJ, even though he defeated both.

Bradley, Vargas, Matthysse all are decent, but neither of them was among major players, when Pac defeated them. And Horn had been a well-tracked pub fighter since the start.

Love Paq, but Floyd is the greater all timer. The debate begins with how high on the list of ATG's is Floyd.

Manny Pacquiao was the tax-dodging catchweight king who was rarely willing to undergo random unannounced blood based drug testing.

He was still a great fighter though, but nostalgia often compels people to perceive blissfully ignorant about historical reality.
