Tommy gun smith

My step dad was a boxer in the Canadian military, Gordon Thomas Smith. His boxing name was Tommy gun smith. I have been told that he represented Canada in the 1960 Olympics. But I’m having a hard time finding out anything about his fighting career. At one time I found some fight cards online. But I can’t find them now. Can anyone help me with this?
