Tony Yoka v Petar Milas

Fight bill in France has just kicked off, I think it’s a European middleweight fight coming up their Olympic prospect …it’s on Canal plus France, I haven’t been able to find the right ESPN channel yet…
Strangely enough it’s taking place on the iconic red tennis courts of Roland Garros.

No uk tv it seems…..Igor Mikhalkin taking on French Olympian Mathieu Bauderlique, who’s looking for a big ko early, Surprising as he got knocked out in one round trying to do that a few years ago, I watched that earlier today…… exciting fighter though. Vacant European light heavy title

Mat reminds a bit of Marco Huck, rangy and quite vicious with his wild swinging attacks, Igor hanging tough in round 7, taking some hard shots though, it took Kov around 7 to stop him….
The great French light heavyweight on commentary Fabrice Tiozzo, what a fighter he was

Corner stops it for the very brave Igor after seven rounds, one of his eyes was damaged and he’d taken some sustained punishment.
Mathieu looks a crowd favourite, swashbuckling puncher with charisma, and he’s still reckless after coming a cropper a few years back, to be fair he took an almighty punch that night.

Superb right hand drops the rockhard Russian in the fourth, crowd going wild, Ishmael makes it to the bell, his left eye is bleeding heavy.

Souley is a real slick sharpshooter with some decent power.

The Croatian looks a bit tasty, very fast hands dancing around the ring, very confident. Not been hit yet…Landed a couple of good body shots I thought I saw Tony flinch

Good fight, the very confident Croatian I reckon took the first two rounds, but Tony landed a good right hand on his chin right at the end of the second… he looks a hard puncher the Frenchman

Pete is dancing round the Ring throwing punches dropping his hands, but Yoka looks the harder hitter and is hunting him down… Pete is using up a lot of energy moving around the ring… I think he’s a Tyson Fury fan
Good test for Yoka, he’s been calling for that

Milas is not to be overlooked. I personaly think he is winning, but, i can hear the crowd so dont expect the cards to agree. milas needs to fight for a stoppage (not yet, but late rounds he cant think he is winning on points)

Yeah milas would make a great test for DDD, who comm were just talking about, nice boxer I’d like to see him again, but yeah he won’t be getting decision here, he’s got about as much chance of that as beating Rafa Nadal at tennis

If the flashy boxing Petar was the local boy he’d be six rounds up now.
Tony’s got a swelling on the left eye, lots of concerned looking Frenchmen in the crowd

Yoka has a pretty static high guard defence. but his arms are so big that its fornicating hard to get around or through. pretty effecive really.

Missed that uppercut live. could of kept it going i think, was the end of the round. but im watching on a 12 inch screen... not in person.
