Bubi isnt here, but this is a fight which should be quiet interesting... i think Krasniq should be a bit too quick for the Man mountain Whitaker. Winner will be WBO mandatory

Interesting fight...Whitaker has had enough chances to break the big time but never quite made it, i think he made a mistake signing with Rock Newman who didn't take him anywhere and what was with all that "Goofi" business?! When he lost to Jameel McCline i thought we had seen the last of him. A good test for Krasniqi never the less.

as I told you, my british friends, 2005 will be the year of european and german heavyweight boxing!!! Luan Krasniqi will end up as the first german World Champion since good old Max Schmeling. Just two fights. Thanks god that he doesn´t fight for the EBU-title in April as planned.

Bubi, would Krasniqi have to fight a mandatory next if he kept his EBU title?? Who is number 1 contender?
it would be fitting to see a german "world" heavyweight champion again the year the greatest german heavyweight boxer passed away.

Luan Krasniqi could make 1 free defense for the EBU-belt and has to fight #1 contender Hoffmann till summer. theoretically he could already make his mandatory fight vs Hoffmann if he lost vs Whitaker. what i have heard is that he didn´t give away the belt.

It would be great to have a heavy champion in Max´s 100th year. we have been desperately waiting for over 70 years. i have a good feeling for the Whitaker-fight but the next fight would be vs a King-boxer in the USA. so Luan needs a knockout. very difficult.

Too big!

Sorry fellas, Whitaker will be just too big for Krasniqi. Plus Whitaker isn't as "slow" as you guys think he is...... Bad decision on "L-Kras" part to take this fight.

I would pick Krasniqi. That 'goofi' must have been one of the worst boxing nicknames of all time

Whittaker is too big I think he'll win a decision.

Kransiqi should win this one - nice fight for him, good exposure. I always thought the EBU ordered the Hoffman rematch. I wonder if Danny Williams can push his snout in a fight for a vacant title with Hoffman, very winnable that. Although, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Hoffman wins based on Danny's last performance.

Hoffmann-Williams would be a close one. but Williams is only #5 in the EBU, behind Skelon and Sprott. Hoffmann-Skelton could be also realistic. he is #3. #1 Wladi Klitschko and #2 Samil Sam won´t fight vs Hoffmann. IMO if Luan would lose he has still the option to fight for the EBU-title......
