It’s not a “Brexit freedom”. Atlantic Bluefin Tuna is a protected species which has only just begun to return to U.K. waters in a number that allows very limited commercial exploitation. EU operates a Bloc-wide quota system so it was appropriate given the endangered nature of the fish that U.K. was not allowed to catch it in our waters and it is likely that, had we remained in EU, limited fishing as U.K. government is now trialling would have been permitted.

I can't believe you don't derive pleasure from his ramblings......... I reckon he's a comedy...... well, not genius, but he's quite funny from time to time.

It wears a bit thin, though. It's the same tired act he's been playing for years. Nothing new or interesting.

The EU only care about quotas as long as they get the lion's share. Not allowed to catch in our own waters and ask the EU for permission, sling your hook! (no pun intended). If we had proper politicians rather than these EU stooges, they'd tell the EU to get lost, thankfully we the people/freedom fighters told the evil EU empire to get lost on that glorious day/night in 2016. :salut:

When UK was in the EU we had an equal part in deciding the quotas so they were ours as much as anyone's; you insufferable imbecile...

I got my new passport today. Much nicer colour than the old red ones, will happily confirm that’s the first tangible Brexit benefit I’ve encountered to date.

That cartoon is correct, new passports should have been free on demand. Cost me nearly 400 quid to do the family.

We've got ours due now, too. Though with the cost of everything and having to renew a £300,000 mortgage in October, I don't think foreign travel is likely.

:o

Which private company got the rights to make Spanish passports, and why haven't they figured out that a captive market can be milked for far more?

Are you a citizen now? :box:

Same as Peru except you don't go to the police, you go to immigration and naturalisation.

My dad is going to renew his British passport next week, he is going to Max Spielmann :yay:

I might do it in the future, it's a complicated paperwork exercise and you need to take a couple of exams.
I've got permanent residence which pretty much gives me the rights of citizenship

I think you should! I will probably do it as it will take me only two years of residence being Latin American and of Sephardic Jewish descent :yay: your Spanish must be pretty on point these days, they only need A2 ability which you should piss in your sleep, surely?
