Witherspoon could give Liston a fight with his tricky style and toughness, but he would fall short. Liston's superior jab and power would be the keys for Sonny's victory.

Witherspoon at his best (how often we say that) has the better jab and is the tougher man. Very close fight till the later rounds, then I think Terrible Tim begins giving Sonny a beating in route to a late stoppage, 13th rd or so.

Either Liston out-jabbed and out-punched Witherspoon to stop him in the late rounds or decision. For Witherspoon, he needs to make Liston had a hard time to hit him with his cross-arm defense awkward style as he must out-jabbed him from long range and landing better punches to decision him.

I see Listen winning this one by 8th round KO.
Good scrap it'd be though.
