Just looking down Boxrec's schedule - they already have Mark Krence against Scott Gammer (29th April) billed as a 'british heavyweight title eliminator.

Assuming Skelton will be lured to the dark side of the WBU title this month, is there anyone really worthy of being the next british heavyweight champ? With all respect to the likes of Krence, even Audrey beat him in his 5th fight.

Could then the british title maybe provide a bit of a chance for the likes of Harrison and Williams to get back on track? A meeting between the two of them for the British would be something.

Also vaguely related, is David Haye officially moving up to heavyweight, or is he just stuffing away the Mars Bars?

Will Skeleton have to vacate if he takes the WBU? Or can he fight the winner?

Haye came in heavier for Delaney he is still at cruiser.

British heavies have always gone through periods of poorish quality, its not the boxers fault , just one of those things.

Whoever gets to box for it after Skelton will wear it with pride, they may only be domestic level boxers , but that is what the title is , best of british

Yes, he'll have to vacate one or the other, if he wins the WBU, he can't hold British and WBU

I wouldn't mind if Mark Krence had it.

Krence vs Gammer and Mcdermott meets Sprott in the elminators, if Sprott decides to take that route as he is due to fight for the European title on April 9th

If Williams, Sprott, Skelleton, Audley and even Greenberg all have the beating of the champ it undermines things a bit

Its the EU title that Sprott is supposed to be fighting for. If Sprott does go that route then how about McDermott vs Llewellyn in the other semi final.

Just think, if Skelton can come through this gruelling test with Moli and claim the WBU belt then Britain will have two World Heavyweight Champions!! Ahh these really are the golden years

Ah, but just think - if Skelton and Harrison fight each other, Britain will have a linear heavyweight champ of the world. Woo hoo!

The British Heavyweight scene may not be bursting at the seems with World class talent but on a positive note at least it is competative with the likes of Harrison, Williams, Hide, Skelton, Llewellyn, Sprott, McDermott, Krence, Gammer and Greenburg.

This was brought up a couple of weeks ago about Greenburg being eligible to fight for European titles. Would he be eligible to fight for the British title?

If he has a British passport or Registration of British citizenship I assume he can fight for the British Title.

Good question, i would think that Isreali fighters don't qualify for the Europeon title, its different for Isreal in footy, they play in the euro championships , and world cup qualifiers in a europeon based group, but this has to do with the safety factor, as an Isreal team wouldn't be the most welcome people in away matches in there own area, e.g. against Iran, Iraq, Syria etc

If he holds a British passport or Registration of British citizenship he may get a European Title shot but I am not too sure to be honest.
