Personally, I'd favor Palomino, to attain the victory in this hypothetical brawl of highly formidable welterweight Warriors. These specific rules would enable this to be a highly entertaining "Scrap",of "Epic Proportions".
Basilio would score a 3rd round knockdown and be ahead slightly after 10, but Palomino would attain an amazing 2nd wind and prevail in most of the championship rounds. He would score a couple of knockdowns(Rounds 12 and 14) and win a relatively clear cut decision.
