Does anybody think he can win a world title on his fourth attempt, and if not will he get another one after losing this one?

It's as good a chance as he'll ever have. he's the more experienced man at championship level, and he knows his own abilities a little more than hoye, who although he has a couple of big wins has never contested a title before.

I make it a pick em. Depends on whether hoye can hurt Clinton early or not.

It's definately a hard fight to pick, who knows what Hoye has to offer besides a big right hand? His camp insist Hoye will be working the body and if so Woods will have problems...for all his experience and know how i think Woods will just fall short again and i think he will get stopped late on by a hungrier fighter on the way up.

hoye for me, definitely. Woods hasn't got the tools to compete at the top level, what's he going to do, outwork hoye over 12 with his nondescript workrate, or outpunch him with his nondescript power? he doesn't have many ways of winning these kind of fights IMO.

As I said, it all depends on how good Hoye really is. It's quite possible that Clinton could win a decision, after all, he did well in the first fight with Johnson who worked very hard throughout the fight.

Yeah, I hope I'm wrong but I think Woods has looked a tired fighter recently. I saw his performance vs Ashley and I don't care what anybody says - he would have beaten Tarver and Johnson on that form. Just doesn't seem to fight with that intensity anymore.

He says though he is feeling better than ever so I hope I am wrong.

I sure I read somewhere that it was revealed after the johnsons fights that woods had an iron defiency and if u remember after his fight with journeyman demetrius jenkins he comments after the fight wre "i felt tired." So if he has got this sorted maybe he can recapture his old form. Clinton has not made a big deal of this in articles tho , he strikes me as someone who doesnt like to make excuses but having an iron defiency is a very legitimate one.

respect to clinton woods whatever happens in this fight,i know he"s been lucky to be given so many title shots but he avoids no-one.moved up to fight crawford ashley,fought johnson twice,rjj in america now an unbeaten banger.calzaghe talks,clinton fights

Bit odd that no venue yet announced - anyone know when tix go on sale?

From what i have heard the fight is at the Magna centre in Rotherham, i also believe tickets are all ready on sale, should be a good one, i'm going to go anyway, lets just hope the undercard will be an entertaining one
