Demoting Fury for a win? Controversial! Although I'll stick my neck out and say there has been a decline in Fury, which made last night more exciting, I'm going to say no change. Fury is still number one. I'm not going to demote Wilder either, as he showed heart and will to turn it around.

The rankings based on that list are fine. Not really debatable at the top end. Usyk is 2.

I'd move Chisora up a few places. Who has Tony Yoka fought?

Only reason youd have Usyk above Fury is based of Cruiserweight achievements

I don't think either has done enough yet to be hitting top 15. Knocking on the door, maybe? Sanchez is a pretty boring heavyweight based on his performance last night, and all of Helenius' past bad performances don't do him any favours.

Wilder stays at 4.

Anything else is just people trying to manipulate the list to feed their own biases

The Gypsy King remains on the throne.

Wilder remains a dosser.

Helenius should make top 15 instead of Rivas.

I want Ortiz and Pulev out of the top 10 too but I'm not so desperate to do it to put Helenius in there. He's shown his level and he isn't a top 10 guy: he knocked out Kownacki in 4 well over a year ago and has done nothing since. It was fun to watch but it isn't especially meaningful in my opinion.

Since 2017, Pulev has beaten Kevin Johnson, Hughie Fury, Bogdan Dinu and Rydell Booker.

Since 2017, Luis Ortiz has beaten Daniel Martz, Razvan Cojanu, Travis Kauffman, Christian Hammer and Alexander Flores.

Neither have had any significant wins for several years. Their best wins are Jennings and Chisora, several years ago, and are not that significant.

No change in Fury and Wilder.

I’d like to enter Helenius into the ranks.. at 15 at least..

2 wins over Kownacki.

Exactly.

Some people just want Usyk to be ranked number 1 by any means necessary.

If Fury drops to 2 after knocking out Wilder a second time over a Usyk points win versus Joshua then this list will have as much credibility as the IBF rankings in the 1980s. Nil.

Fury #1 and Usyk #2

No offense to the people who are making Fury number two but let's be honest here the version of Wilder last night would have absolutely knocked the crap out of Anthony Joshua.

Fury is still the lineal heavyweight champion of the world and there is no denying that and outboxing the mechanical man like Joshua who already lost embarrassingly in the past does not make Usyk number one.

Anyone BUT Fury would not been allowed to continue v Wallin. Usyk would slice and dice Wallin.

Wallin is the ONLY decent opponent that Fury has fought besides Wilder post meltdown.

Usyk is #1 until proven otherwise.

Take your credibility comments and shove them up, down or sideways in your orifice of choice.

Say what you want about Joshua, but the guy has beaten: Pulev, Povetkin, Whyte, Ruiz Jr., Parker, and Klitschko. He fought Usyk.

I'm not a fan of his, but he's fought everyone in the division while Fury and Wilder have been holding the WBC belt hostage the entire time. Him and Wilder is still a toss-up. Joshua took bombs from Klitschko who arguably hits just as hard or even harder than Wilder. It's not like Joshua is some untested can.

Yeah but it's the sneaky way they are trying to get Usyk to number one. They tried when he beat Joshua and the consensus was number two. Now they're trying again on the back of a fight that Usyk was not even fighting. Where the guy in front of him knocked out the guy at number 4.

It's poor form and sour grapes.

Usyk will be mauled by Fury. He'll feel the size unlike the gunshy performance by Joshua.

Then the usual clowns will say Usyk wasn't that good in the first place...

If Usyk blows away Joshua in the rematch then you might say fair enough.

But he's already been ranked after his points win. They're just trying to sneak him up a place today for no reason.
