Does this trilogy saved boxing?

It was definitely good for the sport and it's on par with the great HW trilogies of the past.

I don't know about saving the sport of boxing but if anyone had any doubts believing that the heavyweight division was on the decline or was not interesting those two men single-handedly proved that is not the case.

Nope.....but it gave it the sport a huge shot in the arm.
People are talking about boxing again; even the BBC put it left-right-centre across their channels.

Boxing will never be seen as it was before days of the inter-net and 10000 tv channels (pre-1995)
