Great signing for Eddie and a massive loss for ol' Fish Eyes.

I think he’s a class prospect but hasn’t progressed much in the last 12 months since he beat Jez Smith.
Jez went on to have very competitive fights at a decent level.
Whilst I think he’s a good signing I wish Matchroom would sort their own roster out first. Several fighters (like Felix Cash) that should be more active.

Great news for Irish boxing, Caoimhin has bags of potential and seems like a really sound fella with a level head.
Good signing for Hearn, theres some decent talent coming through over here now. Just don't have the promotional backing or the high quality pro training as in England. Much more of an amateur scene still. But Belfast certainly bucks that trend, its really thriving now and regular small and big shows back.

Things might finally be improving over here. Just need Quigley to do Andrade and Conlan beat Wood. Jono Carroll world title shot. Tommy McCarthy return. Plus the prospects. The good times be rolling again

Wonder why fish eyes let him go. Hopefully he's more active now

i only saw him vs jez, he looked explosive but in need of a bit of refining. seemed pretty good overall though, aggressive style, could be in some good fights

May not have been his decision. Does Frank have any other decent Irish fighters that could headline a card over there?

Probably not, Anthony Cacace is certainly talented enough but he's not really been promoted well. Really he should be knocking on the door at world level now after his last win.
But no word of next fight. FW does not even have him ranked in WBO top 10 which says it all. Archie Sharp is his golden egg at that weight but FW will probably not make that fight.
So yeah Caoimhin made the right move. And Anto Cacace should try move too, would be a good move if he could go with Sky. But anything must be better than sitting in limbo with no pathway forward.

Off topic but I tried to check Queensbury stable and it doesn't even show up on their website. Looks like they updated the website but still.
Anyway I believe this is Warren's remaining Irish fighters. Not many big names there. I believe Paddy Donovan (Edwards brother) is with MTK, but unsure. Think Andy Lee's training him.
Dylan Moran
Willo Hayden
Anto Cacace
Jason Harty
Edward Donovan

I had to take a look at YouTube for this guy...
Yeah, looks good. Hopefully Eddie can get him the 3+ fights a year he needs right now.
Man I'm going to struggle with his name. I'm mildly dyslexic and there is something about the way the letters are arranged screws my head up

Caoimhín pronounced Kee-vin. It's Irish for Kevin. Surname is Ghanaian.
If it's easier just use his nickname Black Thunder

Thanks Peter.
I had 4 attempts at putting his name into the search bar on YouTube and ended up cutting and pasting it in. It hits me that bad

True that. I had no idea how to pronounce (Bobby) Czyz for years. I used to say ‘Kaziz’ not ‘Chez’. Although I don’t even knowing that’s the correct pronunciation as it could be Americanised. Also I’m not sure if Czyz is a Polish surname.

Hopefully the move does more for him than its done for Lerrone Richards.

It’s strange how inactive he’s been. He wins the European title belt and then doesn’t fight or have a fight lined up and gives up the belt.

I always mix up him and Craig Richards.
Why did Lerrone never fight Zach Parker? Would have seemed like the fight to make if Parker is all that

Apparently Felix Cash has had a family tragedy and is taking a break away from boxing for a while. Frank Smith mentioned it in an interview I think.
