12 or 15 Rounds Middleweight Bout
Briscoe would make Pazienza looked "Bad" by out-hustling him on the inside with big jabs, body punches, landing huge left hooks and right hands to either decision him or stops him in the late rounds. What do guys think and who do you got?

Pazienza couldn't hurt Briscoe but might flash and panache a few rounds early as Briscoe stalks him closing the distance. But I think Briscoe can hurt him and will get close by the 4th Rd to connect more regularly and start to bust him up and probably ko or tko by the 10th rd

Tend to agree. I think Vinny wind up with a cut over the right eye and struggles to last the distance, but he has the guts to make it, with Bennie getting the UD

Paz was quite formidable at 160. He should've just remained at his initial comeback fighting weight of 154 though.
He would've been a legit top 5 contender at 154, and winning a belt at Jr MW, was Definitely Not out of the realm of possibilities for Paz at that time. At 160 vs a prime Benny Briscoe,it would've been obviously a very rough and tough ordeal for Paz,but still, somehow I see that particular bout as a winnable one for Paz,based on the contrasting styles. Paz would Have to keep things on the outside as much as possible though, and do the timely flurries in just the right dosages.
If Paz fell out of the proper gameplay strategy, Then I think that he gets roughed up quite Badly by the naturally bigger stronger Briscoe. I could see Paz possibly getting too anxious, or greedy, as the "Boxing approach" saying goes.
So basically I'll have to conclude to consider this particular hypo as being more or less a 50-50 Clash of Contrasting styles, and whoever follows through better with ones individual strengths is ultimately the victor in the end.
I'll go out on a limb and pick Pazienza to win. A lower mid grade upset you could say. Not a spectacular upset is what I'd say.
114-113,115-115,115-114, MD win for Pazienza.
