Tommy Fury is a nugget and this is a 50/50 he's already coming up with illness excuses. Would a defeat ruin his career?

I don't think it will alter his career trajectory much, Fury's clearly not very good, otherwise why would he be fighting Paul in his prime years?

It's a pathetic fight. I just hope there's a double KO.

Probably home with 10 times more than most world champions get.

His boxing career will be effectively over and he will most likely go into acting or modeling instead. If he loses, which I don't think he will. The Paul brothers have had weird contracts with people in the past about not going after knockouts, and there is too much on the line reputation wise. Four rounds or less.

Acctually no. This is a perfect springboard into getting fed to lhw belt holders as cannon fodder. He can be the Chris Algieri of lhw.

Tommy Fury has been a professional for almost three years, but has only engaged in seven bouts, with his opposition possessing an appalling combined record of 14 victories from 194 contests (a 7% win-rate, which is embarrassingly dire).

Tommy Fury only had 12 amateur bouts and competes as a rehydrated 168lb-er, which means he’s slightly smaller than Jake Paul.

Three of the guys that Jake Paul beat were professional athletes. And my guess is that they could probably defeat the same obscenely appalling journeymen Tommy Fury has fought.

So I generally agree, the Paul-Fury bout is pretty much a 50-50 contest, but I'll be hoping the American loses.

Both men are reality stars that occasionally engage in the sport of boxing, regardless of Tommy’s surname.

Would be a devastating defeat…. Is Jake Paul insane enough to fight Canelo for the cruiser title? One the one hand he may die but on the other theres a hundred million at stake.

He would never be allowed to compete again by the family if he was to lose. They are dead serious about that.

Defeat is never as devastating as people like to say before. If Fury is getting anything like the coin he’s rumored to be getting, fair play to him.
