Boots Ennis has potential to be a once in a generation talent at 147-154.

I think Fury is flirting with ATG status if he can string a few more big title defenses together. Especially if he meets and defeats Usyk, which he should.

You’re right forgot Ennis and Vergil both definitely have that potential.

Shakur Stevenson, especially if he does what he claims he will and win titles all the way up to 147.

You’re right I tend to overlook Chocolatito because his last few losses but he’s still competing witht the top of the division and arguably beat Estrada who’s also still young primed and doing big things.

Potential can be seen in many fighters. It's way too early to mention the likes of Shakur Stevenson or Ryan Garcia.

The likes of Canelo, Crawford, Inoue, Taylor, Usyk, Fury, Lomachenko, Golovkin, Gonzalez are on the verge indeed.

I think Canelo is the only all-time great right now.

Some of the others mentioned here could make the list if they can win some more big fights. Some of these really young guys have no business being mentioned at this point. Many a young stud prospect or even young champ has failed to move beyond that status.

I think Usyk already clearly is. Gold medalist, All the belts fighting away through a strong cruiser division, smoked a big, prime heavy with arguably the deepest resume of the current era. Its as good as it gets really.

I wouldent have anyone else definatly there yet although GGG should probably be, and crawford may well be in hindsight.

Usyk is one of a handful of people to move up to win a heavyweight title, and he did it against a guy who at least at one point, was considered the best heavyweight out there. So he's a lock for me.

crawford is certainly an atg. spence will run away to 154 to avoid him....guaranteed.

Unified all Wlad's titles and gave the great champ a crack at regaining them, and no fighter in any generation can said to have done more with titles, purses, and gate attendance with less fights than AJ.

Wiped out Haymon's heavy stable much as Hercules would've done. Banished Blubber Fury and Warren from the Isle to go begging to Arum to secure them a fight with the low hanging fruit of Deyonce for peanut purses because they couldn't compete with AJ filling stadiums in Britain all for the riches of Kings.

Yeah, AJ with a couple of setbacks still better than the rest of this lot save Canelo who has longevity over him, but guaranteed Usyk will be manhandled much as he was in the first fight until he managed to pop AJ's eye into temporary blindness in that fateful 9th round.



Usyk has earned his own HOF stripes with AJ as has his training mate Loma who had Teo ducking that rematch for a skinny little Aussie who whooped the pantyhose off Teo and his fat daddy. We'll see now if Kambo can man up to the biggest stadium fight in Aussie history against Loma, but of course Loma first has to clear the bigger, stronger, equally hard hitting Commey.

Well What these guys need to do to reach ATG status IMI:

Usyk - beat Fury
Fury - beat Usyk
Inoue - lot of work to do, Casimero, then move up to 122 and handle fighters like Fulton, Figueroa
Lomachenko - wasted atg potential IMO, still, if he can beat Kambosos, Teo rematch and Davis before retiring i will rate him as an atg
Crawford - beat Spence and Ennis
Spence - beat Crawford and Ennis
Benavidez - no ATG potential
GGG - wasted atg potential, but IMO he was avoided by Sturm, Quillin and Martinez, he should have all those guys on his resume by stoppage wins. But if he can decisively beat at least one elite guy i have no problem rate him pretty high
