Always remember Tommy Morrison get an absolute pasting from Ray Mercer. I swear he was unconcious leaning against the ropes.
He even started sparring into thin air afterwards while sitting on his stool... :x
Also pretty sure Ruiz was knocked out before he hit the canvass against Tua but I surpose that doesn't count.

Prince Charles Williams (IIRC) against James Toney - a few months before he took on Jones. Williams keeled backwards in a strange arch shape, but it wasn't his weight that was making him so off balance. He was completely out on his feet!

Yep they were two of the most brutal kos you'll ever see. Ruiz was OUT and Tua teed off on him 1,2,3 - frightening stuff.
And Morrison got himself into the most dangerous place possible: propped up on the ropes unconcious, while Merecer fired away full blooded shots - add one slow referee ( like in this case ) and it could be a disaster.
Three simliar ones, all heavyweights:
Tyson/Frazier
Ruddock/Dokes
Gerry Cooney/Ken Norton.
All three guys were unconcious on the ropes while the ref hesitated...and it virtualy ended their careers too.
I was at the Honeyghan/Hatcher match in Spain ( 41 seconds ) and Lloyd had Hatcher in the same position, but spared him by turning away from the unconcious Hatcher before the ref stepped in. Good man.

Whitaker - Hurtado - Sweet Pea lost nearly every round up untill the 11th? Caught Hurtado with 2 big straight lefts then Hurtado got trapped on the ropes and took about 10 lefts untill he went through the ropes and was arched over the bottom rope

Tua-Ruiz was a definate one, Ruiz was out on his feet if i remember correctly. Neil Swain also, when Brodie caught him with that huge punch he just froze and dropped like a tree being felled, it was brutal.

Freddie Mills against Lloyd Marshall - 1947
For anyone that hasn't seen it, it's quite remarkable and down right hillarious...

Cooper v Joe Erskine, another old one, Cooper caught Erskine with 4 or 5 left hooks flush on the chin, he was out cold on his feet , before falling drapped over the bottom rope.

I think it was Razor Ruddock vs. Greg Page back in 1992. Page was out on his feet at the end of the round after Ruddock landed several big blows.
My Best Wishes to Greg Page!

I seem to recall the mighty Gil Martinez being out on his feet against Ray Austin(?) last year. He was staring into space whilst he took a few more shots.

That guy Foster decked the other night, Ruiz. His body went totally rigid as he hit the canvas, then he came around.
How could anyone forget Takaloo at the hands of alexander, could see his eyes rolling upwards as he went down.
Curry's ko of McCrory, and McCallum's KO of curry.

Ummm.. No.... it was Page vs. Ruddock... Ruddock knocked Dokes OUT COLD.... not out on his feet.... Page was "out on his feet" after a barrage of punches from Razor.
