N'dou makes a good point about the shit contract... i think once he was in LA they thought that he would sign anything "as he was already there and in training"... not saying this is what happened or that if that is what happend only Hennesey would do that. i think it is a powerful tool used by promoters...
Universum have used it to there advantage in recent years.... Branco was due to fight Ulrich, Ulrich was sick..... so they offered Branco a replacement in Drews.... A shit fight for branco but they knew after all the training expenses and the like he wouldnt turn it down..... same thing happened in another universum fight but it escapes me at the moment.

Hmm not convinced. I can understand is anger if the situation is as described but why request an eliminator - does he deserve one (possibly) and would he win the title anyway (Not likely)?

The rematch clause if at all, was probably the promoter's idea, not Witter's. I can understand N'dou's decision

20 grand is not a bad paday, Pinto was offered $50,000 to fight Hatton, so 20 grand isn't bad at all, as this isn't the main event.

It's a big shame but all things considered this match shouldn't happen and that's the end of it. If N'Dou took the fight and lost everyone would be saying how foolish he'd been.

Hopefully they will get it on down the line seeing as there doesn't appear to be much of a rift between the promoters. It's the perfect step up for Witter, the kind Ricky Hatton should be taking IMO rather than leaping right up to King Kostya in one go.

It happens all the time, it may be shit, but there's nothing unusual about it. N'dou is a name, but not a ticket seller.

Look how much DLH gave Yori Boy Campas, $50,000 I seem to recall, DLH got 20 times that much, and that was a main event.

I thought he was offered £20,000 which is $40,000. .

As I said, Witter is not the big name on the bill, it's a supporting fight.

To be honest though, I think N'dou has done the right thing by himself, if he lost again, he really does just become a stepping stone. He needs to actually take a fight and win it, instead of always coming in at short notice, it's career suicide.

He tourght that he would have a good chance of winning, and it could have been his only chance for winning a world title. I think he got at least the danish TV rights also.
