good winless trilogies (or more than 3 fights)

a lot of ppl really got off to fury - wilder, which wilder won 0 fights in. even loads think the third was fight of the year and best hw fight in decades, despite wilder winning maybe 2 of 11 rounds
what other examples of good 3 or more fight series are there, where 1 guy didnt win anything

Well, i think Wilder actually won first fight but i am probably only one here
Second fight was slaughterhouse, and WIlder had a lot of good moments in third, despite it was one sided after 4th. Still, trilogy was one sided for Fury.
There was also Franco - Moloney trilogy where Moloney lost 1st and 3rd fight

I can't think of any, but I can think of some which the judges got wrong in one of the fights.
I think Gatti should have got the decision in the first Ward fight.
Memory is hazy but want Corrales vs Casamayor 2 controvesial.
I thought Jmm had Mannys number

jmm didnt officially get a win until the 4th manny fight, the first 3 certainly woulda ranked high on this

Yeah you are right, but Wilder still managed to hurt Fury at the end of 9th and 10th while was hurt few times himself. Fight has some nice drama and big KO, but i understand why Lopez - Kambo is a better fight maybe

First one that comes to mind is Alan Minter - Kevin Finnegan, Minter won all 3 and all of them went to the wire.

Johnny Armour vs Francis Ampofo , all 3 went the distance and Armour got the nod on tight decisions.

They were exciting fights too. The first two in particular. Around the time of Brodie Swain and Mullings Oliver. Oh and Gallagher Shepard.

Victor Galindez fought Juan Agiular 9 times beating him for the 1st time in the 5th fight.

There’s not many that would have a 3rd if they already lost 2..
Unless it was a few years down the line, or one was a draw.

You’re not the only one.
I know a few who thin Wilder deserved it.
Fury was the challenger and there was some close rounds too.
But a very close scorecard win for Wilder. Nothing more.

Not winless but all 3 Woods v Johnson fights were close with Woods winless after 2.

John Ruiz should have been winless after his three fights with Holyfield.
That trilogy doesn't qualify as "good" though.

decision in 2nd fight was fine, ruiz deserved the decision if anyone did. holy shoulda got the win in #3 though
