Nottingham prospect Carl Froch faces local boy Christian Cruz, who has lost just one of 11 pro fights and stopped seven opponents early.

down several times in his last fight and got up to win.... suggests questionable chin but great heart...

I'm just glad to see him get a fight out there, will give him good experience of fighting on a big bill, and give some of the americans a look at him, i don't expect it will be televised out there though

The BBC's slot is 50 minutes, so given the likelyhood that Hopkins v Eastman will go into the late stages I doubt we'll see any undercard action.

Forget the undercard i doubt we will even see the main even in full...i am getting it on Setanta for extra insurance

Cruz's last fight against Ornalas was televised on HBO Latino. Cruz took a beating for most of the fight before rallying back to pull off the upset. He should be a good test for anyone at 168.
