Knee op - trainng to get fit again.

Need some advise please:
Had 4 tears in meniscus repaired beginning of Nov. Started training again beginning of this week. Although I can do all the weight and floor exercises I find it difficult (painful) to go in a boxing stance. So no heavy bag or double end bag or shadow boxing and obviously running a no-no. Not a member of a gym so swimming in my pools - about 10m across- one option.
What can I do to regain my cardio fitness again?
Thanks for your suggestions.

I have had a couple of reconstructions. Swimming will works but be careful not to kick too hard. The exercise bike is really your only other option. Unfortunately just riding a normal bike isn't advisable because if you put your leg down that's had the surgery to steady yourself or something similar you could damage your knee again.

I had major knee surgery, Way WAY Back, in the now seemingly Dinosaur ages of December of 1993, at 23.
Kneecap Re-Alignment(Right Knee). And other goodies within the same surgery.
I had injured my right knee quite badly in May of 1991, but didn't get the advised surgery.
It Did heal, but the way it healed left it basically, a Wonky knee, that would just up and Lock-up, at random times, (especially when I was at work). So,lo and behold, I wound up re-injuring my right knee, in October of 1993, while playing Street-Hockey.
After the 2nd injury to my right-knee, it just utterly Refused to Heal on it's own, therefore, I had no other options at that point in time. The bend,or R.O.M just wasn't returning, so,under the knife I decided to go.

Initially, it was unimaginably Horrendous.
It's basically like, when I think back, The surgery was, at the least, Halfway Botched.
It was So Much Rehabilitation from that point onwards.
They're program provided for me Post Surgery was utterly Horrendous, to say the least.
They're approach with the exercises, and the idiotic Psychology was Morbidly Unbearable as well.
I just promptly exited one day, and vowed to never return again, while with a Good Friend, who drove me to a session one day. I knew that the one particular classic saying fully pertained to me at that very point in time....
If you want something done right, then you just gotta go ahead and do it yourself..!!

Looking back, even though I did fairly well with my self rehabilitation.
I could've done Way Better, had I known then what I know now.
Just like that Rod Stewart song.
Swimming is Definitely Great, if you have access to that particular facility.
Otherwise, I'd strongly recommend what I did, combined with what additional stuff that I should've been doing.
Stationary Bike. Simply Walking ALOT. Stretching. Hamstring Curls. Foot-Lifting(Using db's,5-15 lbs)
And the one that just popped into my head....Knee-Strikes. Shadows box style, or using a Bop-Bag).
