Found this promotional picture of Morales & Pacquiao for next months fight and Morales looks really out of shape and Pac man looks superb. Could be that with Manny it's genetic and he always looks like this but Just made me look twice when I saw Erik's physique.

Does anyone know whether he trouble making the weight...even at 130?

Yes, he does look like he's been at the enchiladas with a will, doesn't it? I heard from some American friends that at the HBO pre-fight weigh-in for the third Barrera fight, he was over 10 stone!

I think he's on the downward slope. As good as that third fight was with MAB, on watching it again (and again!) recently, they both looked a little past it. I think he's gonna get mashed up.

And how the fornicate is this for the "World Super-feather championship"? Morales was stripped of the IBF title for fighting Barrera, and lost the WBC to him anyway! That old saw about "titles sell fights" really doesn't need to be invoked for this one. After all, Ward-Gatti wasn't for a title, was it? I think that their third fight was on PPV...

He's been putting on lots of weight between fights for a while now. He doesn't look as bad in that photo as he does in this one.



I'd say that a move up to lightweight is now a certainty, in fact, I'm quite surprised that he's stayed this long at super-feather.

Morales and Pacquiao look weight division apart in that promotional poster on the link, as for the pic glittermonkey posted, is that Carlos Hernandez? At first i thought it was DLH after a day under the sun beds 8)
