How much of your hard earned money would you pay to see Thurman vs Barrios.

I was looking at the price for this fight and had to laugh. Almost $80 to see a boring inactive champ vs a no name who somehow stumbled on to a belt and just got KO'd.
Personally, In this economy I would probably pay $8. For a full decent fight card (by today's standards) I would probably pay $15

I gave some guy begging the other day 4$. I suppose that if I ran into one of these guys in the street and they asked me for a handout that I could give them 4$ but as for me coughing up and funds to see their fight on tv that wouldn't happen.

it absolutely amazes me the cost of PPVs in the states we get mad when they are £20!

It's a typical pbc set up fight to showcase a fading former name welterweight who should have got his shot at Mayweather about eight years ago but Haymon did him dirty. Of course Haymon still has plans to use Thurman so he will assuredly beat this hired patsy. Thurman is totally irrelevant and without value until he fights Crawford, Spence or Ennis- anything else pbc should pay fans to watch.

When it first came out in the UK, it was £16.95 wasn't it? I remember WWF as well was that price.
It was that amount for a long time.. Even GGG-Brook was £16.95 I believe..
Then it moved to £19.95, and within a couple of years, AJ and Fury are already £24.95.
AJ vs. Joshua will be £29.95 no doubt.
The US is a different story.
In the 90's the first PPV's were around $50 weren't they?
The more success these had, the more they just started charging.

It was £9.99 initially.

What year was that? It launched in 96 for Tyson vs. Bruno right?
I just checked, it was actually £14.95, or £9.99 if you paid in advance.

To see Thurman vs Barrios I would pay zero dollars.
If this fight were on dazn and came with my subscription I would watch it but there is no possibility of paying extra to see it.

$10 of my money or $7.50 USD.
I would spend more on beer.
And I'm not a big drinker.
The rundown -
A past it inactive ex champ Vs a never was stepping up in weight for the first time, both coming off losses.
The Santa Cruz fight is laughable, boxrec has Carbajal ranked 110, big challenge Leo

Just insane. Put Fury vs Usyk, Canelo vs Charlo, Beterbiev vs Bivol and Crawford vs Spence at one PPV card and i will think about spending 80 euros to watch that

£8.99 cause I’m bored and that’s what FITE tv are charging - I could watch it free but live but at 4am no thanks Keef babe.
Also because I’m interested in watching Carbajal junior step up, with the feuding Michael & Danny duking it out ringside in a co main co main.

Ok, but so is KEEF’s. Looks like we have a Mexican standoff here. Keef v Jeff Lacy. One time v the middleweight Mike Tyson.

Yeh. I remember reading. The Manny/Floyd fight on Sky PPV. It was £20.
Mayweather asked Sky to pump the price up for £50.
Sky rightly said no.
Fight still did 1m buys in the UK and it was 4am fight.
Most people I know watched the fight in groups or at cafe’s where they did like a big watch along.
