Apparently they were due to fight but it fell through when Duran lost to Laing. Duran would've destroyed him.
A piece of crap absolutely but was he that great as a fighter, he was bowling over pretty average fighters and was decked by one of them, not sure he had the style to be a huge success.tiny_acres wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 10:39 A total piece of crap as a human
But a freak of nature as a fighter
He destroyed everyone in his path and was just 19 when his career was stopped the first time for his rape conviction.
I wonder where he would of been what he might have accomplished if he wasn't such a monster in real life.
A very promising career was wasted because of his criminal activity
I guess you could argue if De La Hoya got locked up for 20 years in 1994 people would say 'he was down twice against journeymen, he would never have done anything'.Controversial wrote: ↑18 Feb 2022, 06:00A piece of crap absolutely but was he that great as a fighter, he was bowling over pretty average fighters and was decked by one of them, not sure he had the style to be a huge success.tiny_acres wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 10:39 A total piece of crap as a human

Ayala is mysterious like Ibeabuchi. Campas was a puncher and couldn't actually put an ancient, severely diminished Torito down.
One thing is for sure, the world is better off with him dead.Controversial wrote: ↑18 Feb 2022, 06:43Yeah I get that but he wouldn't be the first to bowl over a load of fighters only to be found out later on.
