it's been said that bugner losing to joe fraazier tops everything joshua has done, so would he beat the big man?
I remember calling AJ "Bruno 2.0" and getting attacked!!tiny_acres wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 12:54 3 years ago numerous people on this forum were calling Joshua an all time great.
Now he is seen losing to Joe Bugner,
I find the flip flopping hilarious

It'll always happen. Fights aren't like team sports. We have way more time to chat and less time to watch. Baseball; Basketball; Football, etc. play every other day or every week, so less time to think about things.tiny_acres wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 13:10I was there with you. I also do not understand the Fury is a top 10 all time heavyweight hype either.
Before Klitschko fight people called hi a bum who couldn't box. Then he was a master boxer in the mold of Ali. When knocked down by cunningham he was called chinny and couldn't take a punch. Then gets knocked down numerous times by Wilder and people are like look how he recovered he has a chin of granite.
WTF is going on with this?
Why not let their careers play out before claiming they are an all time great? Let's see how it plays out. At least wait until their careers are winding down before making such insane comparisons
Great point!tiny_acres wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 12:54 3 years ago numerous people on this forum were calling Joshua an all time great.

I agree that people rush to judgement way too early for active fighters.tiny_acres wrote: ↑19 Feb 2022, 13:10I was there with you. ya agree with all thisBodyshot3 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2022, 17:21 Must be AJ on points.
Bugner had the chin/skills to survive and in very elite company - win some rounds too - but not nearly enough pop on his punches to impose himself or look good with the judges.
At a domestic level he stepped-in and banged over a few guys.
It is the same old story with Joe......everything was there apart from a hook or uppercut that dissuaded the very top guys from moving to the middle of the ring and which grabbed Joe some extra rounds with a hard, clean shot.
