Brook v Benn

Thoughts? Yes, Khan is badly faded but this version of Brook beats Benn pretty convincingly I think.

Connor needs to focus on his own career at 147 and Brook needs either Smith or a world champion at 154.

Benn is shit, won’t be allowed anywhere near Brook even at this point.

Yeah I expect Brook will look to 154. Not sure off the top of my head which fights there might be for him there.

Could do without talk of the Eubank fight getting any traction.

I’d like to see Brook in with Kerman Lejarraga, EBU title on the line

I thought that it would be ok after seeing tonight's performance but cutting down to weight could do him over .

I think Brook should hang em up and have a big smile on his face for the rest of his days.

Benn needs to fight someone his own age.

I would think he'd pass on a fight like that because realistically he can't have many left and that wouldn't make him much money in the grand scheme of things .

It's a good fight and should be made

Benn needs to stop calling out fighters in their mid 30s.

I'd rather Brook earn some real money - either a world title at 154 or how about Josh Taylor at 149. Not Connor Benn.

Doubt theyd let Benn near Brook after that

This fight will give Brook another payday, Eubank will be keen to give him one.

I agree but the reason I’d like this fight is just to see if Brook performs again or if this just just a good performance due the decline of Khan, a measuring stick fight

Brook should retire now ,,, Eubank -- Brooks no way Eubank will do to him what he just done to Khan , simply just walk him down and walk right through him , come down in weight , fight Taylor ,,,, Naaw , he'd be a shell and completly outboxed before he collapsed of exhaustion .

Benn --- Brooks ,,, bring it on only one for Brooks i'd say ,, and brooks wins big KO inside 3 rnds ,, benn will know what levels are , and guess what he will not show anywhere near the heart Khan just shown

Lejarraga is shot to hell and his chin is Khan like!
The payday wouldn't be enough though but it would be straightforward for Brook

Benn will get bounced round the ring by that version of Brook.

But he won't be calling for it. He'll probably go after Amir.

I’m not going to get too carried away by Brook’s performance tonight. As good as it was, Khan was absolutely shot to bits.
However, fair play to Kell, it was a measured performance and he looked good in winning. Brook v Benn? I probably shouldn’t want to see it…but I do!
I don’t want any talk of Eubank though.

Even that Kell Brook ruins Benn.

Not enough money in the fight though for them both.

Brook does Eubank or retires IMO.

No real fights at 154lbs unless it’s Eubank or one of the champions and I can’t imagine he can walk into a title shot off the bat.
150lbs against Benn would be very watchable.

People really think Brook looked good? He looks shot to pieces to me.

Agreed. Brook looked good but he wasn’t up against much. I don’t want to see the Eubank fight either.

The Benn fight would be interesting but I don’t discount Benn just because of Brook hammering a shot Khan.

I don't think Conor is ready for Brook.

I'd rather Brook went out on a high. Why not retire now?

Was his timing good or was it Khans speed completly gone , plus the fact he was too strong . too big ,, never really seen anything there to make me think Eubank would'nt ko brook inside 6

Both guys looked washed to me but obviously Khan can't hold the shots so got battered.
