Anyone got any interest in what could end up being a macabre spectacle. Two former WSM winners going to settle their differences throwing some leather. Watching the WSM final was always a family staple growing up, just feels odd blokes upwards of 25 stone entering the squared circle. Patriotically I'll be rooting for Eddie Hall but this has the making of being an embarrassment on a grand scale.

They competed loads against each other in strongman, with Thor winning the vast majority of the time.

Eddies boxing technique is ridiculously bad but Thor, although looking like he’s took it very seriously, looks like he can’t punch with any snap. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens but not expecting much except amusement.

Eddie is training with some bloke that worked with Nathan Gorman,but any training I have seen has been ridiculously bad. No basics, moving in straight lines, low hands. The guy seems a sycophant tbh. He also bashes up his gym buddy and his ego inflates with every pounding he gives.

The whole debacle has put me right off the guy. I think he’ll win on aggression alone, but I’d love to see him smashed.

I feel exactly the same about him now. I see the training the same way. I just wish Thor looked a bit better but his punches seem really weak for the size and strength of him.

He replied to a comment I made about his boxing technique saying “the boxers I fight behind closed doors have all be very surprised by my skills, believe me”.

I’ve also seen him say he thinks a fight like Jake Paul should be next for him but he wants £5mil for it. Total clown.

Yes mate I’ve seen them moving around. To describe it as ‘fighting’ is utterly ludicrous but since this whole things been happening, including his bicep tear (the he filmed the operation on while boasting about no anaesthetic) I’ve found him to be a complete ego maniac. He tried to describe Thor as being ‘like Wilder really’ as if that meant he wasn’t on Eddies level

Conditioning often ends up being the key factor when two unskilled barely trained guys box. Thor looks to have lost more weight than hall and on top of that the exhibition he had against that light heavyweight will have taught him a lot even if the guy was holding back.

tbf to thor, he legitimately dropped simon vallily and put in a game 3 rounds vs ward

he obviously has taken this very seriously and has done the right things, getting a proper coach and getting in the ring with real boxers. from what ive seen, he is defo trying to maximize the huge height and reach he'll have over hall. i think he'll get the better of hall, but got a feeling a draw is coming

The second video there he looks sharper than I’ve seen him. The 1-2-hook to body is decent. If he can get his hips behind it he will burst Eddie up.

One thing that noticed about Eddie is he hates a punch in the face, it totally flusters him up. Thor is slightly more relaxed under fire.

I got a picture ringside with Thor at Parker/Chisora and he’s a miserable whopper.
Used to like Hall then I read his autobiography and watched a few post-strongman YouTube videos.
Both bellends and I hope another injury happens and their 1mil purses get delayed further.

I’ve only heard good things about Thor from folk who’ve met him, especially recently since he’s been staying in Glasgow.

What was up with him?

If it’s down to conditioning then it’s Eddie all the way. He’s got those swimmer lungs.

I've just finished watching the pre fight press conference and now moved my allegiance, Eddie Hall came across as a total conceited knobhead. Had his son next to him too, embarrassing stuff and the inevitable spat ensued. Going to watch it as have a macabre interest in this one.

I think Eddie Hall is being trained by
Lindon Newbon. Lindon is a great chap
and has done a lot for City via Boxing.
Trained Area Level, English and a British
champion. Gary Reid, Scott Lawton
also Chris Edwards.

Didn't think Eddie Hall came across well there.
