taylor card is 6 days away and there are 7 TBAs still listed

ramirez vs donovan is an okay fight , two high level ams with a loss each. will probably be skillful stuff, though perhaps not the most exciting. but that's your leading undercard fight. i guess there's a bit of local attraction for the scottish hw fight too, though its pretty low level stuff.

more depth for sure on the okolie card. euro title between guerfi and gill, yafai debut vs an unstopped younger mexican, fowler off a hard loss vs a decent enough test at mw (though again they match him vs a powerless guy), plus hatton vs probably his best opponent yet, and wardley+mckean for hw lovers.

and though taylor is the best fighter of the 2 cards, okolie-cieslak is the better matched main event

Its a very good question.
I was focused on the main event, and now I've had a look. Well it's sh*t isn't it?
It says Sky is the broadcaster, better not be ppv, not with Catterall as an opponent, and not with that undercard.

These TBAs must be stopped. I get it in peak covid, but we have to move away from TBAs... BBBoC should have guidlines/limmits.

My suggestion would be a minimum of:

-10 days for a 4 rounder
-2 weeks for a 6 rounder
-3 weeks for an 8 rounder
-4 weeks for a 10 rounder
-5 weeks for a 12 rounder

Obviously you allow people to apply for late injury replacements, But require fighters and opponent listed that far out.

To be fair on the main event situation, Taylor wasn't exactly "matched" it is a mandatory defence.

Good thing is, the cards don't clash...

One is Saturday and the other is Sunday.

TBA has been cloning himself for multiple paydays :yay: :OhYes:

A wordsmith! :D

Why is the Okolie event on a Sunday!? That's odd.

Taylor should be headlining the Ok card. There js nothing on the Taylor card except Taylor, and in a long way away second place- Catterall

Quote from Dan Rafael's newsletter about the Okolie Sunday card:
Typically, in the United States and Europe boxing cards with world title bouts take place on Fridays or Saturdays, but Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn and DAZN are experimenting with Sunday boxing this week.
And I actually came on here to see if there were any prospects to keep an eye on for the Taylor undercards. Doesn't seem too interesting...
