Carl Williams came so close to beating Holmes before Michael Spinks finally did that year, I figure Tubbs -- a level above Williams -- would have won this by decision.

Fighting in their prime Holmes would get the better of Tubbs with jabs, right hands and combinations to take a decision. However in 1985, it would be a 50/50 fight with either one would take a decision.
