Already we're a quarter of the way through the year! Where's the time gone?
A new month brings a new monthly boxing picks league. I hold the current bragging rights, and I'm gonna defend my title hard!!
New players are always welcome. Please read this initial post for the rules of the game here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=251623
While new players joining are unlikely to be able to win the overall title, April is a stacked month of big fights and there will be several bouts with double points at stake this month! So pick the right way and you can quickly make up some points!
It's gonna be a slow first weekend, but later this month some big bouts to look forward to: Gennadiy Golovkin vs Ryota Murata
Errol Spence Jr vs Yordenis Ugas
Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte
Oscar Valdez vs Shakur Stevenson
Jesse Vargas vs Liam Smith
Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano

Unfortunately it's a slow start to April. Not much to get excited about next weekend and so we're just going with 2 fights.
1. Sandor Martin (39 2 0) vs Jose Felix (39 5 1)
2. Florian Marku (10 0 1) vs Chris Jenkins (23 4 3)
Deadline for both of these fights with be Friday 7PM GMT.

What made you edit?
The more I watched vids of Jenkins the more I think his punch resistance has gone down. THe more I watched Marku, the more I see his improvement in both defense and punching power.

Marku Vs Jenkins-Draw (could go all the way and be closeish on cards but i really think Markus heavyweight head is going to have jenkins leaking badly in the first 4 rounds and why not start april with a glory pick)

just 2 fights at the end of the month?
with how many guys still in reach to win the march league?
who's first in march so far? by how many points again?
should be more fights, doesn't matter if they aren't top level! just take a match with 2 fighters one can look up and make a guess!
how should anybody gain those points if practically everybody is picking the same outcome?
highly unlikely. intentionally?

i'm cool as a cucumber. calm & collectcted as ice. never lost my shit as far is i remember. ever. too cool a dude. stone cold. stoic. made of slavic steel.
you won't see me loose my permanently superprofessional demeanor on here. not in this life. i'm extremely good looking and in top shape and always extra polite too.
one can see all my pearly white teeth when i put on a smile. and i smile all the time.
i'm a vessel of pure love anointed by god himself who called upon me to protect, well practically everybody. i could go on but i'm too humble.
just smells a bit fishy around here as of late.

You'll also see, if you read the Standings Thread, that after this first quiet weekend, we have a crazy busy April. There's going to be several fights worth double points this month.
And we have several members/players who suggest & pick the fights week to week.
