Matches where physically inferior opponents defeated physically superior opponents. Pretty self-explanatory. Proof that size alone means diddly squat in the world of boxing.
One that comes to mind is from women's boxing where Ann Wolfe brutally knocked out basketball player turned champion boxer Vonda Ward. It's pretty unfortunate that the fight between Wolfe and Laila Ali never happened.

I was hoping this would be a full historical analysis of the original biblical bout.

Jack Sharkey (5'11") against the nearly 6'6" Primo Carnera, where Sharkey was outweighed by over 60 pounds. Nevertheless Sharkey won a rather wide unanimous fifteen round decision over the Italian giant. Two years later they would rematch and Carnera in that contest won by knockout.

BoxRec lists him as 5'11.5" and Wikipedia says 6'0", but he certainly wasn't a big guy. Then again Angelo Dundee was a short guy, so maybe anyone bigger than him he considered to be a big guy.

Jack Dempsey destroying Jess Willard seems the most obvious example.
Joe Louis vs Carnera, Simon x2 and Baer x2.

this is similiar to some earlier threads about the "Mansters" of boxing,
i.ed Primo Carnera, Abe Simon, Jack O'Halloran etc.
But what about welterweights ( or former welterweights)or middleweights
taking on much physically larger Boxers ?
one such fighter one doesn't hear about much anymore( for some reason) would be
Jack "The Giant Killer" Dillon.
remember him ?
