i notice that practically every big wilder fan is a big fanboi of luis ortiz, probably so they can hype ortiz to hype wilder in turn. cant have your main mans biggest win by far looking not all that good.
what other cases are there of very high fan crossover between fighters?
usyk and loma is another big one

What about common fan bases of guys that are from different countrys, different promotional stables and different trainers and havent fought each other (People just talk up there favs opponents somtimes to big up there favs).
I mean its hard to know, because theres not many scenarios that that information is actualy said. But it is crazy how often peoples favs are all in a group, even though its an individual sport.
At a guess, i think Loma and Pac would have a lot of fans in common. just a vibe, probably my own biases...

African American and Mexican American casuals on twitter. They support their own, which is fine, but it means they can miss some nuance. Bit edgy I know but you seem some badly clueless takes and it makes me laugh.
Otherwise it’s a style thing, hard punchers who give dramatic knock outs will tend to accrue the same crowd.
Also, football. Can’t help but support fighters who wear your teams colours can you

Lucian Bute had a big French Canadian fanbase. After he basically lost by TKO to Librado Andrade only for the ref to hold him up, and then in the rematch beat Andrade you had Bute fans all making out like Andrade was a legit top 4-5 Super middleweight. Obviously at that time you had the Super 6 going on or about to start. Quite literally the same as the Wilder Ortiz example just slightly different circumstances.
