Wonder how they define a sauna... What if you just have the fireplace roaring, 16 heaters on, and a couple of humidifiers in a room.

Hate when commisions have different rules, Weight cutting is a big issue, but how are you going to attract Big fights if boxers have to completly change there weight cutting program (something you really want a consitant formular for.).

It's all there in the rules.
You fight under their banner, then it's their rules. Blame the fighter, and also blame his team- they should know this stuff, and it's either cheating the rules, or a rookie mistake. I think the former.

if you go to BBBoC website they have "rules" 85 pages, not a single mention of the word "sauna". Dont think it even mentions weight cutting.

interestingly one rule iv never heard, the trainer must record a boxers weight befor or after every training session and keep it in a diary.... how many people would fail that if the board started asking for it...

Noone heres heard of it, its not in there published rules, its inconsistent with world rules, my guess is saunas get used all the time not cheating, just because its assumed to be allowed, and for some reason bbboc have just decided to nail someone on somthing obscure.... (probably going after probelem due to kinihan links)
