eddie's changed the game by promoting women's fights more than ever, including an msg main event and hiring more women commentators than ever (they outnumber men tonight). taylor-serrano isnt even the only undisputed fight on this main card here
he set out to conqueror the world and he realliy is changing boxing and social history....fair play
deserves some type of award or something

The BBBoC had women's boxing banned because they were too "emotionally unstable", allegedly called women's boxing a freakshow

glad we can now enjoy spectacles like this dezurn-cedroos fight, the angles and skills on display are something. it's like if lomachenko were an overweight black woman instead of himself

It's a shame Maloney didn't transform in this era, she coulda been a contender.

Jane Couch has been vocal on this site about Maloney being really obstructive to women's boxing

we should get some all women's cards in the works for you. skye 'tyson fury' nicholson could do an exhibition shadow boxing and i know your night would be made, especially if there's a conor benn guest apperance

Bar the womens super middle fight I thoroughly enjoyed the card. Loved the Beefy fight and the main event was class.
They’re reporting an attendance of over 19,000. Not sure how true that is but it still appeared extremely busy with a hot atmosphere too.
It’d be great if they can take a rematch to Croke Park. Big gamble though given how big it is. Also not sure when they could do it given the Irish weather.

Don't see the issue or get the Masoginy around hating on women's boxing.
Things are changing its here to stay, and woman's boxing was pushed a bit in Europe, with Sauerland having a few for a while before Eddie was pushing it over here.

Brilliant fight. It’s still mostly awful though . And promoters only push it to save pennies and say they’ve a world title fight / tick a quota box.

It’s basically 5-7 really good, elite level women boxers.. the rest are a few levels below easy.
I have never minded watching a Katie Taylor fight. She can fight and box.
Serrano is another.
Shields, I haven’t really watched much of.
Sav Marshall, I don’t mind cus she actually stops her opponents.
Mayer and McCaskill can fight.
It’s shame they’re all scattered around different weight division majority, it not all are very thin divisions.

Levels. The level of Mens boxing is infinitely higher.
If you like womens boxing I have no issue. But when the promoters fill out a card or even sell a card off the back of a womens boxing world title fight when the reality is a solid British level male fighter at the same weight would wipe the floor with a female "world champion", something just feels very wrong with that to me. It's like it's detracting and taking resources away from male boxing. And isn't that literally happening in Olympic boxing where they are removing weight classes in men's boxing and adding more weight classes to womens boxing?
I did see a couple of Lucia Rijker fights back in the day: she could really fight.
Anyhow I'm losing interest in boxing more and more as the years go by. Women's boxing, proliferation of alphabet titles, politics, too many weight classes.....
Boxing has become metaphorically that amazing woman who once is a while blows your mind but the majority of the time effs you over and tries to make out its your fault.
