This is the end: Carl Greaves

Former British title challenger Carl Greaves has been forced to hang up his gloves after failing a brain scan. The Newark man was due to top a bill in Burton-on-Trent on Saturday.
"I'm suspended. It's all over," said Greaves.
"To be honest I haven't got my head around it yet."
Carl initially failed a routine scan in October 2001: "I was told then I would never fight again, so I suppose these last few fights have been a bonus," he said.
"It is all I have known since I was a lad and I have worked so hard.
"I certainly didn't want to go out like this.
"But I won't go off the rails, I can promise you that.
"I know it is for the best, because I have a young family to think about."
NB: Greaves is known to have been slurring his words for some time.
