Homburg is probably best known for his portrayal of Vigo the Carpathian in Ghostbusters 2. I remember him fondly for his role as Charles Malcom Diggs in the boxing film Diggstown, too.

If I'm not mistaken he was a professional wrestler as well as a boxer. Unfortunately he ended up living in a trailer and was largely forgotten and penniless from what I understand.

Maybe he got what he deserved? I've read several places that he was not a nice guy. The interview is a classic though.

Homburg also played one of Hans Gruber's (Alan Rickman) henchmen in the first Die Hard film and yes, I remembered him playing Vigo the Carpathian in Ghostbusters 2.

Hey HH, have you ever seen this film ?
you should check it out.
I just saw it for the first time earlier this year and it sort of sad but really packs a wallop.
just wish I saw it back in 1977 when it would have had even more of a wallop.
( and filmed in Ed Gein's hometown of Plainfield Wisconsin)
