On the back of the topic regarding the heavyweight division I thought it'd be interesting to see where people's interests lie within the current state of boxing.

For me outside of Usyk, Joshua and Fury my interest in the heavyweight division is minimal, I'm not seeing the talent, or fun matches to be made that I am all that bothered about.

So which boxers and divisions are folks most interested in? Name the boxers who you are keeping an eye on be it for any reason. Maybe it's as simple as they are from your area/country, maybe it's their talent and standing within the sport (Canelo, Crawford, Spence maybe), maybe they are not at the top of a division but you just like their style! Maybe there's a bunch who are in a division and you wanna see them all fight (the lightweight scene for instance).

It doesn't have to be in any particular order, but if you wanted to put your MOST interesting guy at 1. and work down from there that's cool

Please state the boxer and their respective weight division(s) (Canelo might be middle-light heavy for instance.)
We might get a glimpse of the most interesting weight classes and most popular boxers people are following currently.

this thread made me relise my "following" page has been cleared, very annoying i had a really weird variety of fighters there the most random ones there iv forgoten which sucks.. obviously the top guys draw the most attention, here are the not top guys im interested in. keen to see them have a good couple of years.

Yea, bogan mullet was getting lit up by ballet mullet.

garside looks pretty good to me, just cant punch. going to need to improve power to get a bit going on in the pro ranks.

garside looks pretty good to me, just cant punch. going to need to improve power to get a bit going on in the pro ranks.

He reminds me of George Kambobos Jr. Tough, good engine, and the will to win. That was Kambosos about when he got signed. And then he went to the states, got a good team behind him, then gradually improved his skills every fight, and now look at him.
Garside could be "all that" given the same opportunitys. I like him too. He wants to win so badly, he just grinds it out. Take that type of guy and teach him some skills and you have a world champion

Kambos not a puncher but he is compared to Garside. or else bogan mullet had david tuas chin packed into a lil 135lb frame.

Sucks that it looks like gallen is done. For one i would of liked to see him v sonny bill. but for 2 he is good for getting the footy boys watching aus boxing and making some household names.

mabey gallen tanked on purpsose and is after that jake paul fight...

Granted, I was struggling to find 10 I actually like...but 4!! Come on

I’m a boxing nerd, which means I am moderately interested in most world-rated fighters competing from 130lbs and above.

I usually focus on the top-five guys from each division and also heavily-hyped prospects.

But in terms of fighters I have a weird fascination about, relate to the following names, and three of them I’ve only recently become acquainted with (so my knowledge is rather sketchy):

• Joe Joyce (Heavyweight)
• Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (Middleweight)
• Jaron Ennis (Welterweight)
• Keyshawn Davis (Lightweight)

I’m obviously very familiar with Joe Joyce, but he seriously intrigues me, simply because I was previously unimpressed by him, but now I really rate the guy. He’s one of the few fighters that compelled me to perform a complete U-turn and revise my opinion.

In terms of the other three guys, I’m still learning about them. But what little I’ve seen seriously excites me.

I am keeping my eyes on Alimkhanuly, Ennis and Davis, simply because they seem to have a lot of potential and reputable boxing insiders appear to expect great things from them.

Canelo Alvarez though I get sick of his fans. The guy is a tank and a fun watch
Derrek Chisora over rated as a fighter but one of the toughest son of a bitches of the last 20 years. Always gives 100%

and my 10th favorite fighter is the underdog. Just any fighter that can pull an upset that we all go how the hell did he do that. Those type of fighters who give it so much in the ring and just entertain . I love the upsets. It was most excites me about this sport

Yeah, heard that too.
Personally I think he is better than that. Definitely a cruiser belt contender. A bit small for professional heavyweight. But Bridgerweight is a cop out.
