G'day. I posted this question elsewhere and didn't get an answer: Ok. Between 1900 and 1955 who were the 10 best Australasian (OZ and NZ) heavyweights and how would you rate them in order from best to last. No fighter who campaigned under 175/12st 7lb. We're talking George Cook, Tom Heeney, Colin Bell, Allen Williams, Alf Gallagher, Wokko Bill Britt, Ken Brady, etc. Bill Squires, Bill Lang and Heeney were, I think, the only ones to fight for the world title but maybe others were just as good.

The Boxrec Rankings have the following:
1. George Cook
2. Claude Nichol
3. Alf Gallagher
4. Billy Myers
5. Ken Brady
6. Colin Bell
7. Herb Narvo
8. Allen Williams
9. Billy "Wokko" Britt
10.Peter Jackson

Joe Goddard and Frank Slavin are well down the list, behind Ron McAullay and Pat Doran. Algorithms aside, I'm wondering how these guys would've measured against each other. Should Bill Lang be in the top ten? Was Allen Williams the best Australasian heavyweight of the first half of the 20th century?
